OCOM 8060 - Psychiatry
This required four-week course is designed to provide the 3rd year student with clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric illnesses.
Course Outcomes
- A set of learning objectives is provided to guide the student’s learning activities and to serve as a baseline for assessment of the student’s knowledge, skills, and professional behavior.
- During the Psychiatry/Psychology Rotation, students are expected to develop their competencies in many basic clinical skills.
- The purpose of this rotation is to provide the student with an overview of the clinical specialty of Psychiatry/Psychology.
