AT 6210 - Human Anatomy for Athletic Trainers This course is designed to provide detailed knowledge in the study of human gross anatomy. A regional approach to the appreciation of human anatomy will be augmented with surface, clinical, and radiographic resources.
Requisites: Master of Science in Athletic Training Major Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture, 3.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Describe the interrelationship of human musculoskeletal anatomy and function.
- Indentify the musculoskeletal anatomy of the neck and head.
- Indentify the musculoskeletal anatomy of the upper extremity.
- Indentify the musculoskeletal anatomy of the lower extremity.
- Indentify the musculoskeletal anatomy of the torso.
- Indentify the structures of the nervous system including nerve plexi, spinal cord, brain and, cranial nerves and describe their clinical relevance.
- Interpret musculoskeletal images (radiographs, MRI, CT scans) and corelate these findings with clinical symptomology.
