ISE 6140 - Reliability in Design Introduces graduate students to advanced topics in reliability: Bayesian reliability analysis, reliability of systems with dependent components, design and analysis of accelerated life test, and design and analysis of accelerated degradation test.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Analyze reliability of systems with independent or dependent components.
- Apply basic reliability models and calculate basic reliability measures.
- Design and analyze degradation test and accelerated degradation test.
- Design and analyze life test and accelerated life test.
- Understand advanced reliability models: mixture models, competing risk models, and sectional models.
- Understand and apply Bayesian statistics in reliability analysis.
