ME 6750 - Mechanical Testing of Materials Testing and analytical considerations in destructive testing of materials. Interpretation of results and sources of errors in mechanical tests, such as hardness, tensile, compression, torsion, impact, fatigue, and fracture tests. Pressure testing of materials. Elastic and plastic stress/strain relationships in mechanical testing. Instability. Fracture.
