INST 6940 - Professional Project

Extended research project that is interdisciplinary and integrates themes, content, and methods from the student’s course of study. The project may engage theoretical issues, be an application thereof, and/or be a piece of original research or creative work.

Requisites: Permission required
Credit Hours: 1 - 10
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 10.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 research
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Demonstrate mastery of analytic frameworks pertinent to chosen project.
  • Design interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Exhibit competency related to topic.
  • Generate oral and written analysis with discipline-appropriate discourse.
