IHS 5210 - Fundamentals of Global Health


This course will provide a comprehensive overview of health and healthcare from a global perspective. The course will explore measurement of population health, global burden of disease, comparative health systems, communicable and non-communicable disease, and socioeconomic factors in health. Throughout the course, students will be encouraged to critically evaluate determinants of health and health interventions.

Credit Hours: 3
