IHS 5204 - Advanced Healthcare Leadership
This course examines the competencies required for leaders in contemporary and future healthcare organizations including an understanding of matrix organizations, change leadership, negotiation/conflict management and the requisite skills for structured thought and communication.

Learning Outcomes:
- Articulate the fundamental skills of negotiation and conflict management
- Describe the concept of leadership self-awareness
- Describe the core principles of (at least) one model of change management and articulate the difference(s) between managing and leading change
- Identify core principles of structured thought and communication for leadership
