AT 5693 - Musculoskeletal Movement in Performing Arts A study of the demands placed on the human body in dance, music, and theater from musculoskeletal perspectives that include kinesiology, biomechanics, and healthcare. Kinesiological and biomechanical evaluation will be utilized to identify movements and possible injury mechanisms in performing artists. Case studies will be used to outline musculoskeletal training protocols for injury prevention and the role of healthcare practitioners in preventing and caring for performing arts injuries will be presented.
