INST 6500 - Research in War and Peace Studies Research in War and Peace Studies introduces graduate students to advanced research methods and approaches in War and Peace Studies, including case studies, archival research, process tracing, statistical methods and discourse analysis.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 8.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to identify key research methods and approaches to questions of war and peace.
- Students will be able to write research proposals for a war and peace project that demonstrates a solid understanding of at least one research method.
