IHS 3403 - Female Veterans’ Health This course emphasizes the importance of increasing healthcare provider awareness of unique healthcare challenges female veterans encounter as they seek treatment across various healthcare agencies.
Requisites: Jr or Sr Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - The student will be able to explain unique healthcare challenges female veterans face while receiving treatment.
- The student will be able to identify barriers to healthcare for female veterans.
