CHE 7500 - Advanced Chemical Engineering Momentum Transfer An analysis of the flow of fluids and the transport of momentum and mechanical energy. The differential equations of fluid flow, potential flow, flow in porous media, flow in fixed and fluidized beds, laminar boundary layer theory, and non-Newtonian fluids.
Requisites: CHE 6100 and 6400 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply energy balances to fluid motion.
