CSD 8965 - Single Subject Research in CSD Provides students current knowledge about the value and importance of a range of single subject research designs in communication sciences and disorders. Seminar is reading intensive. Students will facilitate and participate in roundtable discussions regarding the types of single-subject designs and the threats to reliability and validity associated with different single subject designs.
Requisites: Permission required Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Critique published single-subject design papers, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the study.
- Propose a single-subject research study to answer a specific clinical question.
