EDCT 7042 - Emerging Technologies for Learning Examines the emerging technologies in the field of instruction and how these technologies may/will impact teaching and learning. These include mobile technologies, virtual technologies and cloud technologies.
Requisites: Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Participants will be able to identify new technologies available for K-12, higher education and business.
- Participants will evaluate the viability and sustainability of these emerging technologies.
- Participants will evaluate these new technologies for possible impact on teaching and learning.
- Participants will examine each emerging technology for the application of the programming aspect in education.
- Participants will examine the emerging technology for communication, collaboration, and web structure for application in K-12.
