EDCT 7960 - Advanced Seminar Instructional Technology - Distance Education Examines the field of distance education within the framework of instructional technology design theory.

- Students will be able to identify the political and social conflicts that technological instruction through distance education produces.
- Students will be able to place the use of scientific modeling within the framework of instructional design theory.
- Students will be able to place the use of multimedia within the framework of distance education and design theory.
- Students will identify the role of design theory in student success in online environments.
- Students will research the impact of design theory and distance education within an international context of technology use.
- Students will research the impact of distance education and its delivery within a K-12 context of technology use.
- Students will research the impact of distance education within an higher education context of technology use.
