- Students will demonstrate an understanding of contemporary and potential issues that face American higher education.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of student, faculty, and administrative characteristics and the challenges facing each of these groups.
- Students will differentiate and explain purposes, structures, and functions among and within types of institutions.
- Students will identify and describe societal influences on the governance and operations of colleges and universities.
