EDTE 7230 - Laboratory Reading/Language

Provides an in-depth study of the pedagogical issues surrounding the instruction of students with reading/literacy problems. Candidates will have a practical experience working with these students.

Requisites: EDTE 7220
Credit Hours: 3 - 10
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 10.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar, 2.0 practicum
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Candidates will develop an in-depth understanding of the issues surrounding the instruction of students with reading/literacy problems.
  • Candidates will tutor a student with reading/literacy problems.
