Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate their understanding of the terminology and principles of this technique during field trips and by logging cores.
- Know the historical development of the technique of sequence stratigraphy with emphasis on siliciclastic sediments in a seminar format.
- Read original papers on the application of this technique to different depositional environments ranging from deep marine to lakes.
