OCOM 7902 - Introduction to Clinical Education

This course will have online coursework and live presentation orientation on relevant topics to clinical education that is customized to prepare the student for success in their Years 3 and 4.

Credit Hours: 4

Course Outcomes
  • The student will be able to clearly reflect on and understand medical laws governing medical students in a clinical setting.
  • The student will be able to recognize violations of patient safety.
  • The student will be able to operate in a student learning management system.
  • The student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of HCOM Clinical Education policy and procedures.
