ANTH 3540 - Primate Behavioral Ecology This course is designed to further students understanding of the behavior of non-human primates, from an evolutionary perspective, focusing on how selective forces impact the social behavior of primates.
Requisites: ANTH 2010 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - A better understanding of evolutionary theory & how evolution impacts animal populuations.
- A better understanding of primate behavioral ecology.
- The tools necessary to discuss primates and their behavior in an academic & non-academic setting.
