ANTH 4520 - Anthropological Archaeology Explores contemporary archaeology in which goals, methods, and theory are considered within the framework of science.
Requisites: ANTH 1010 and 2010 and 2020 and (3610 or 3670 or 3700) and Sr Credit Hours: 3 OHIO BRICKS Capstone: Capstone or Culminating Experience General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to acquire information from multiple sources and will be able to appreciate and assess the validity of that information.
- Students will be able to apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
- Students will consider other cultural perspectives in an ethical and responsible manner.
- Students will develop the ability to make independent judgments and become aware of the value system that guides their decisions.
- Students will have the ability to understand the epistemology of science.
