AVN 2403 - Private Pilot Flight Transfer Course Dual and solo flight instruction in cross-country navigation by pilotage, dead reckoning, and use of VOR, NDB, and HSI. Flight test preparation for private pilot certification included.
Requisites: Permission required and FAA private pilot knowledge test passed Credit Hours: 1 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply Aeronautical Knowledge to satisfy the FAA Private Pilot Airman Certification Standards (ACS).
- Students will be able to perform Aeronautical Skills necessary to satisfy the FAA Private Pilot Airman Certification Standards (ACS).
- Students will be able to analyze aeronautical weather products to safely conduct flight operations in the national airspace system.
- Students will be able to interpret flight information to prepare accurate cross-country flight planning documents.
- Students will be able to categorize different airspace requirements for flight operations.
