CLAS 3540 - Greek and Roman Religions and Society Examines how ancient Greek and Roman religion developed over time and how it related to other aspects of ancient society. Interdisciplinary in its approach; students will learn about this topic through primary source readings and discussion.
Requisites: Soph or Jr or Sr Credit Hours: 3 OHIO BRICKS Bridge: Diversity and Practice Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will gain a greater awareness of the diversity of religion and culture of different societies.
- Students will improve their skills in written and oral expression through class discussions and writing assignments.
- Students will learn about ancient Greek and Roman religion and society and the methods used in the academic study of these topics.
