ECT 3401 - Game Development I


An exploration of all aspects of 3D game development. Topics include: file and project management, terrain modeling and painting, interior and object modeling and animating, character integration, GUI editing, sound and music basics, and scripting fundamentals. The main project is one of four designs that will be developed by teams of four or five students. This course is part two of three in the game development sequence.

Requisites: C or better in MDIA 2401
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
