PAW 1099 - Adapted Physical Activity
Designed to help students gain the knowledge and skills necessary for physical activity and people with special needs. Students will gain knowledge, appreciation, and understanding about adaptive physical activity for people with special needs.
Credit Hours: 1
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 laboratory
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to adapt physical activities for people with special needs.
- Students will be able to identify key components of physical activity.
- Students will participate in adapted physical activities.
