THAR 2111 - Acting II Advanced foundation work will be explored though exercises and scene work. Authentic use of self will continue to be stressed. Upon completion of the class, students will have acquired the fundamental principles of an acting technique.
Requisites: THAR 2110 Credit Hours: 3 - 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 6.0 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Apply all of the aforementioned outcomes to scene work.
- Behave naturally and easily while in the unnatural context of performance.
- Clearly communicate and execute an acting intention.
- Craft circumstances, character relationships and objectives vividly and specifically.
- Dedicate ample time to preparation for rehearsal and performance without compromising academic work.
- Identify a given circumstance and personally connect to it.
