MAT 2930 - Independent Study

Independent study of a particular topic pertinent to medical assisting under the direction of a faculty member.

Requisites: MAT 1010 or 101
Credit Hours: 1 - 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 6.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 independent study
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Decide on topic pertinent to medical assisting and allied health.
  • Provide summation of information learned.
  • Research topic with instructor’s assistance.
