CE 4110 - Legal Principles in Boundary Location In this course, the students learn the legal principles in determination of boundary locations and the role of evidence in that determination. The students also learn procedures for weighing conflicting forms of evidence and guidelines for evaluation.
Requisites: CE 2100 Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to explain the laws and legal principles involved in property ownerships in the U.S.
- Students will be able to discuss how evidence plays a role in judging boundary locations.
- Students will be able to explain the responsibilities associated with having professional land surveyor stature.
