TAS 4140 - Workplace Interactions in a Diverse Society In todays culturally diverse world, workplace success requires appreciating and understanding cultural differences. This course covers components of developing effective relationships in the cross cultural workplace and focuses on understanding cultural differences.
Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Apply intercultural research to be able to interact with others demonstrating interpersonal competence.
- Explore and describe his/her personal cultural background.
- Identify the interactions that create healthy personal and workplace relationships.
- Synthesize how the workplace is effected in terms of cultural differences.
