BIOS 8700 - Biostatistics II

Application of multivariate statistics to biology; multiple regression and correlation, principal components, canonical correlation, discriminant function, and factor analysis. Project in experimental design and analysis of data.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 3
Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture, 2.0 laboratory

Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will be able to identify and apply the appropriate multivariate statistical analysis.
  • Students will be able to explain, interpret and appropriately report the results from multivariate analyses.
  • Students will be able to create graphs to display multivariate data.
