CSD 6520 - Experimental Phonetics Speech communication involves the generation of sounds by a speaker from some internal linguistic representations and the interpretation of sounds by a listener. Explores how linguistic representations are implemented by the speaker to generate sounds and how the acoustic signal is perceived by the listener to uncover linguistic representations.
