GEOL 6901 - Geologic Studies

Individual or small group independent study arranged with faculty members.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 1 - 6
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 30.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 6.0 seminar
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Explore a specific and advanced geological topic with a faculty member and small number of students.
  • Learn to communicate with regard complex and possibly conflicting data and ideas in small-group conversations.
  • Learn to summarize, synthesize, and write about sophisticated geological information acquired from a variety of sources.
