WGSS 5600 - Gender, Sexuality, and Culture Draws on theoretical, historical, and aesthetic texts in order to discuss the relationships among gender, sexuality, and diverse forms of cultural representation.

Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students learn to use effectively key terms and concepts in cultural and aesthetic analysis, and to apply these concepts across intellectual and professional disciplines.
- Students will theorize the relationship between gender, sexuality, and culture through close analysis of texts from diverse disciplines and media.
- Through discussion, short essays, presentations, and article-length research papers, students sharpen their abilities to critically interpret artistic, historical, and theoretical texts.
