AT 5010 - Diagnosis and Care of Lower Extremity Pathologies Evidence-based practice applications to the pathology, etiology, diagnostic principles, and therapeutic interventions for common musculoskeletal disorders of the lower extremity and pelvis.
Requisites: Admission to MSAT Program Credit Hours: 5 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture, 2.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - The student will be able to describe the signs, symptoms, and risk factors for common lower extremity pathologies.
- The student will be able to implement a plan of care for lower extremity pathologies based on the patient’s diagnosis.
- The student will be able to implement strategies to prevent lower extremity injuries.
