AST 1010 - Introduction to the U.S. Air Force Designed to introduce students to the United States Air Force and AFROTC. Topics include mission and organization or the Air Force, officership and professionalism, and military customs and courtesies.
Credit Hours: 1 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students demonstrate basic oral and written communication skills.
- Students learn about the history of our Air Force; organization and goals.
- Students learn the benefits afforded members of the military.
- Students learn what career opportunities are available for an Air Force officer.
