PCOE 4900H - Honors Seminar Prepares honors students for their research topics and proposals. Students give presentations related to honor’s thesis plans and develop strategies to provide and receive constructive feedback related to scholarly work.
Requisites: Permission required Credit Hours: 1 - 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 3.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Develop communication strategies to effectively present research plans.
- Develop plans for independent scholarly work in area of personal interest.
- Develop scholarly writing skills.
- Engage in constructive dialog related to scholarly work.
- Explore various methods of scholarship inquiry in Patton College of Education (PCOE) disciplines.
