CE 8670 - Traffic Flow Theory Fundamentals of traffic flow, definitions, concepts, and calibrating relationships. Consideration is given to the applicability of the Greenshields, Underwood, and Edie models. The development of flow-speed and flow-density relationships for existing highways is examined.
