Learning Outcomes:

Ability to attain superior understanding of canonical texts through the original language.
Expanded knowledge of Greek morphology, syntax, and vocabulary.
Familiarity with and competence in using online Greek language and culture resources, e.g. Thesaurus Linguae Graecae and the Chicago Homer.
Further vocabulary acquisition. Some familiarity with advanced grammar resources, for example, H.W. Smyth’s Greek Grammar.
Understanding of what the study of Greek language and literature contributes to liberal education.
