ART 2620 - Interior Architecture Place & Human Experience Studio Students analyze the inter-relationship between interior space and shaping human experience. This includes continuing investigation of interior design/architecture processes such as design ideation, programming and spatial problem solving. Through design projects, students investigate the development of spatial outcomes to meet client needs. Students must maintain a computer workstation in the design studio for the duration of this course.
Requisites: ART 2600 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 studio, 2.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in a range of design skills, including ideation sketching, space-planning, three-dimensional modeling, and professional design presentation.
- Students will be able to create and critically analyze environments designed for human use.
- Students will be able to critique others’ work indicating their ability to synthesize knowledge of expected standards.
- Students will be able to produce sketches and drawings expressing design solutions using a variety of appropriate visual communication techniques and technologies.
