FILM 3400 - Film Techniques Introduction to motion picture production techniques. Students will design, shoot, and edit their own projects.
Requisites: FILM 2010 or 2020 or 2030 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture, 2.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Develop an understanding of basic filmmaking principles and techniques.
- Develop competency in the operation of 16mm camera, light meter, and flatbed editing system.
- Write, produce, direct, and edit a short 16mm film project.
