KHMR 1110 - Elementary Khmer I Culture based approach to increased language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Khmer speakers.
Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 2CP Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - The student should be able to demonstrate knowledge of the alphabet, basic sentence structure, vocabulary, and basic geography and culture of the country where the target language is spoken.
- The student will be able to know how to greet others and introduce him/herself, as well as say goodbye according to the circumstances.
