ML 3210J - Writing in Two Languages Course designed for the English-speaking student with two or more years of French (or course-specific language) who would like to improve his or her English writing skills using a comparative language approach.
Requisites: FR 2120 and (Jr or Sr) Credit Hours: 3 OHIO BRICKS: Foundations: Advanced Writing General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 1J Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Employ writing skills in English, particularly style and tone in different kinds of writing.
- Use close reading in the source language for interpretation of written texts.
