SASM 3910 - Internship in Sport Management
This internship course provides structure to a meaningful experiential learning opportunity for students to gain relevant experience in the sports and entertainment industry under the supervision of an on-site supervisor. Students are responsible for securing their own internship experience and complete a minimum of 1 credit hour, which is approximately 70 on-site work hours. Internship experiences must be related to the business side of the sports and entertainment industry (no coaching, officiating, athletic training, etc.).
Requisites: SASM 2920 and Sports Mgmt. Major only and Permission Required
Credit Hours: 1 - 12

Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours.

Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply business knowledge to their internship experience in the sports and entertainment industry.
