SUDN 1110 - Elementary Sudanese Arabic I

Culture based approach to increased language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Sudanese Arabici speakers.

Credit Hours: 4
General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 2CP
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

Learning Outcomes:
  • The students will be able to make introductions in Sudanses Arabic,
  • The students will learn everyday expressions in Sudanese Arabic
  • The students will learn greetings in Sudanese Arabic
  • The students will learn numbers and basic mathematic terms in Sudanese Arabic
  • The students will learn the basics of writing in Sudanese Arabic
  • the students will laern transportation and tourism terms in Sudanese Arabic
