SUDN 2120 - Intermediate Sudanese Arabic II Culture based approach to increased language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Sudanese Arabic speakers.
Requisites: SUDN 2110 Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 2CP Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - The student will be able to accomplish basic reading in Sudanese Arabic.
- The student will be able to engage in simple conversations in simple Sudanese Arabic.
- The student will be able to understand basic written Sudanese Arabic.
- The student will understand idioms used in public communication In Sudan.
- This course builds on the previous semester.
