MDIA 6000 - Introduction to Graduate Study

Prepares students for graduate study through analysis and discussion of research and teaching.

Requisites:
Credit Hours: 1
Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 2.0 hours.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 seminar
Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I
Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will develop an understanding of different research traditions and methodologies used by media scholars.
  • Students will develop presentation skills appropriate for classroom and scholarly material.
