POLS 5904 - Special Topics in International Relations In-depth exploration of a special topic in international relations. Study relevant cases, as well as the theories and concepts scholars and practitioners use to understand the topic under consideration.

- Develop a general understanding of a specific topic in international relations, including its historical and political context.
- Develop strong written and oral communication skills appropriate to the selected topic.
- Evaluate competing approaches on how to explain and understand outcomes associated with the topic under consideration.
