VICO 5321 - Documentary Photography This course practices, through a wide range of visual projects, the use of still photography as a tool for social, anthropological, journalistic, and artistic investigation of contemporary issues. Students apply traditional field research methods and engage in critical discourse and open discussion about how to solve photographic field problems and develop documentary projects.
Requisites: VICO 5022 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May not be retaken. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,CR,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to describe and apply appropriate documentary project research.
