VICO 5400 - Illustration I: Digital Imaging

Advanced class introducing the computer as a tool for digital creation of images to produce visual communication imagery.

Requisites: VICO 5014
Credit Hours: 4

Learning Outcomes:
  • Students will be able to articulate their reasoning behind artistic choices
  • Students will be able to apply appropriate software tools to achieve specific communication solutions
  • Students will be able to color correct images appropriately for publication.
  • Students will be able to apply appropriate Image Compositing techniques
  • Students will be able to explain appropriate application of imaging tools within the industry software
