Latin American Studies Certificate Program

The Center for International Studies offers certificates in African, Asian, European, Latin American, and Southeast Asian Studies for students who wish to add an international dimension to their major, or who are interested in an international career or graduate work in area studies. The certificate is noted on your transcript upon graduation.

Requirements

Students must complete the following requirements:

study of Spanish through the 213 level or Portuguese through the 306 level
overall 2.5 GPA in certificate courses

Five courses in a minimum of three departments from the following:
