Principal Instrument
The principal instrument may be any wind or string instrument, percussion, or piano or organ. Wind, string, and percussion principals must elect piano (class piano–MUS 141-243–or studio piano MUS 341) as the secondary instrument. Piano or organ principals must follow procedures outlined in the School of Music Undergraduate Handbook. Freshman
